Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Japan Edition – Ref. AB01349A1B1A1
The Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Japan Edition Ref. AB01349A1B1A1 is one of the most visually striking modern Chronomat references, combining Breitling's flagship in-house chronograph movement with an exclusive Japanese-market dial configuration, by Geneva Watch Company. Unlike standard production models, this edition features a rare Black Mother-of-Pearl (Black Shell) dial, giving the watch a unique appearance that shifts dramatically under different lighting conditions. The iridescent dial displays shades of black, charcoal, blue, green, and purple depending on the angle, making every watch visually unique.
Built around the modern 42mm Chronomat case, this model showcases Breitling's signature rider-tab bezel and the highly regarded Rouleaux bracelet, whose distinctive rounded links draw inspiration from the original 1980s Chronomat. The bracelet is among the most comfortable steel bracelets in the luxury sports-watch segment and has become one of the defining features of the current Chronomat collection.
Powering the watch is Breitling's celebrated Manufacture Caliber B01, a fully in-house automatic chronograph movement featuring a column wheel, vertical clutch, COSC chronometer certification, and a substantial 70-hour power reserve.
